Philip Silberman holds a B.B.A. with a focus in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. He is responsible for the firm's strategic planning and higher level decision making.

Mr. Silberman has served as in-house counsel for both commercial and residential real estate firms. His legal practice areas include real estate law, business law, probate, and asset protection.

Chris Heald

Managing Attorney, COO

Chris Heald is a Baylor Law alum with extensive practice experience in probate and guardianship law. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's practice areas and lawyers.

Additionally, Mr. Heald has a broad array of experience in real estate and business law. He has received favorable results for his clients across all the firm’s practice areas including probate, business, and real estate. Mr. Heald currently handles both litigation and transactional matters at the firm.

Clint Flanagan

Lawyer

Clint Flanagan earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School with concentrations in commercial real estate, business transactions, and estate planning. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Clint focuses on civil litigation and transactional matters.

Before joining the firm, Clint served as in-house counsel for an electronics manufacturing company, where he negotiated contracts with major defense contractors and managed regulatory compliance. He also brings experience in property management and previously clerked with the Texas Office of the Attorney General in the Transportation Division.

Ashley Hoyer

Ashley Hoyer grew up in Houston, Texas and received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

Ashley's practice areas include probate matters and business and real estate transactional matters. When she is not in the office, Ashley loves to read, go to the movies and watch Texas Longhorn football.

Heather Britten

Heather Britten is a seasoned attorney at Silberman Law Firm with over two decades of legal experience in civil litigation and estate planning. She has successfully handled numerous cases from intake through jury trial.

In addition to her extensive practice, Heather has shared her expertise as an associate professor and adjunct faculty member, teaching courses in business law, legal research, and civil procedure. She earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Texas Tech University.

Patrick Caldwell

Patrick is licensed to practice law in Texas, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Eastern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Patrick Caldwell grew up near Miami, Florida and graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Economics and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Jourdan Wallace

With over twenty years of experience in financial services, Joshua focuses his practice on business formations, probate, and fiduciary matters. Previously a Senior Trust Officer, he specializes in interpreting complex instruments and advising clients on technical entity structures.

Katherine McKinley

Katherine McKinley earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. She also holds a Master of Science in Molecular Pathology from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas Tech University. She is a USPTO-registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice by the State Bar of Texas. Additionally, she holds a certification in Molecular Biology.

Katherine focuses on intellectual property matters, patent applications, and business contracts. She has extensive experience as an attorney, having drafted over 200 design and utility patent applications across industries such as consumer products, software, and oil and gas. She currently serves as a Cofounder and Managing Member of an events group, where she drafts business proposals and evaluates intellectual property matters relating to branding. Furthermore, Katherine brings valuable background experience in research commercialization, having evaluated technology disclosures for patentability , as well as property dispute experience from her time as a legal intern. Before transitioning fully into her legal career, she worked as a Medical Technologist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she processed tumor samples and contributed to the validation of gene panel assays.

Madeline Taylor

Madeline is an Austin based attorney specializing in commercial and residential real estate litigation. Madeline earned her Bachelor's degree from Sewanee: The University of the South and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center.

Jens focuses on real estate, energy law, and property title analysis. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience as an associate attorney in Fort Worth, where he conducted thorough research of property records and drafted title opinions for energy companies leasing land across Texas and Ohio. He also brings experience in litigation support, having served as a summer law clerk in Amarillo, Texas, where he drafted pleadings, assisted with trial preparation, and aided lawyers during arbitration and mediation sessions. Additionally, Jens brings a diverse background and strong communication skills to his practice, having previously managed metadata as a musicologist and demonstrated leadership as a professional singer directing a team of performers before transitioning to the legal field.

Sean Miller

He also brings experience in federal trademark litigation and has served as a litigation extern for a major oil and gas company. Additionally, Sean previously interned for Judge Albright in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, gaining insight into patent infringement cases and federal court strategy.
