Philip Silberman holds a B.B.A. with a focus in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. He is responsible for the firm's strategic planning and higher level decision making.
Chris Heald is a Baylor Law alum with extensive practice experience in probate and guardianship law. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's practice areas and lawyers.
Jesse Robert Buttery was born in Dallas but grew up in South Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. He attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and obtained a B.A. in English with a minor in History. He obtained his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Steve Costello has degrees from Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and South Texas College of Law.
Carin D. Groh, CPA, JD, MBA has over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. After earning her MBA from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, she held positions with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Defense Contract Audit Agency.
Drake grew up in San Antonio, TX and completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Houston Law Center. Prior to law school, Drake earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude. In recognition of his academic achievements, Drake was awarded the 2016 UTSA Institute of Law and Public Affairs Ray Coleman Jr. Award.
Michael is a Dallas native and works in the firm’s Dallas and Fort Worth offices. After graduating summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Michael attended SMU’s Dedman School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2015.
Austin Black grew up in the DFW area and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law. At UT, Austin was the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas International Law Journal. Prior to joining Silberman Law Firm, Austin worked as an attorney for one of the largest corporate immigration law firms in the nation.
Dawna began her legal career in San Antonio as an Assistant District Attorney for Bexar County. After working as a prosecutor and gaining significant trial experience, Dawna transferred into private practice with the Silberman Law Firm, where she practices real estate, probate, and business law.
Garrett grew up in Plano, Texas and graduated from Baylor's University Scholars Program with a degree in History, Political Science, and Economics. He earned his JD from the University of Texas and is an active member of the Federalist Society.
